Here’s an interesting problem regarding the #aesthetics in reproduction of #digital #image|s. (Interesting to me, at least, and also, maybe, to people like @_menkman, @jbirken, @Sierra_Offline, @kevindriscoll and @GIFmodel). 1/38
What I’ll say is true for all digital images, in a way. (And more generally, for all works of art.) But I want to focus on one type of images and on one set of aesthetic qualities in particular here. 2/38

2/7 How does it work? Take an image, run it through a large n of visual filters (blur, gray, edges, etc), compress the variants, record file sizes. Yields a vector where each value expresses some aspect of visual aesthetics, resulting in an explainable vector space. Simple&fast!
3/7 But does it... work? Test against human vis complexity ratings: correlates very well &outperforms plain compression. Also designed downstream tasks such as author identification: also works quite well. Again, no #deeplearning or pretrained models here, just image compression!

It all started with 200lbs lost, 11+ surgeries, health issues and community.
I could not find any information on any platform and when I did I had to go get user insights in real time. Having users everyday people be support was 100% better then the provider insight.

So Social SX was created and the community grew taking over the platform for Healthcare resources and information.. and best thing about it?? They NEVER had to leave the group for anything. Everything was in one place at the click of a button.

balconies and windows exhibited a harmonious aesthetic reflected through similar patterns, materials or the use of colours, all subtly pleasing to the eye. The diagonal mullion and horizontal transom in the stunning windows at Rajjab are a great example. They serve no purpose of
supporting the window frame but hold the glass panes in place. It's a visual element thoughtfully put in place by architect Merwanji Bana & Co. in consonance with the design patterns on the facade. Did you know that already? Sliding aluminium windows anyone?

In a Design System Manager (#DSM), change in master files reflects change in many pages in many application all across the service ecosystem. Sometimes change in a certain UI element (a button, a dropdown, a label) may become unnoticeable w.r.t. the background color and
texture in a certain page of a certain application. One of the reason could be mismatch in contrast ratio. Now the implication of change in master file could be spread across 1000 files in the hierarchy. These files could belong to different application
with their own access control and permission. It is impossible to check each file one by one. The design system should be intelligent enough to inform the respective #UX teams about the change in master file and also the aesthetic disorders it have created.
