A judge can order a person in custody to be released on bail. Perfectly fine. But look at the sequence of events which led to #Zubair's release today. Just before bench rose for lunch, #VrindaGrover asked for a rebuttal, but post lunch, that was refused by YV Chandrachud. Why?
He said something like "We know what to do, we know how to safeguard individual liberty." Who authorised YV Chandrachud to make this remark on behalf of the bench? It was very obvious why rebuff was not allowed. That process could have taken an hour and then would be counters.
When the final order was read out, again by YV Chandrachud, the strategy was clear. After ordering release of #Zubair, a deadline was set for his release. No judge would do this, as there is a process to be followed, like bail amounts to be paid, individual sureties to be signed.

3. The brilliant minds of these eminent judges never made the logical extension that it is the Islamic scriptures which might be inciting violence if by quoting them Nupur incited something. Moral of the story: Hindu is always guilty.

The process has been reversed. You haven't first sought material that may be relevant for investigation. Instead you arrest him. Its an admission that you have no case against him. After arresting you're saying let's recover laptop to determine if any other offense is committed
