جزیرہ نماعرب ہمیشہ سےایک مشکل اورکٹھن جگہ رہی ہے. صحرا ہونےکی وجہ سےیہ کوئی بہت زرخیز اورمعاشی طور پر مضبوط بھی نہیں رہا. اور زندگی بھی مشکل تھی. اسی وجہ سے ماضی کی سپر پاورز نے اس پر قبضہ کی کوئی خاص کوششیں نہیں کیں.

اورریاست مدینہ نہ صرف مضبوط بنیادوں پراستوار کی گئی بلکہ اسلامی خلافت کووسعت بھی دینا شروع کردیاگیا. اسکےلئےاس وقت کی دونوں سپرپاورز،ساسانیوں اوررومیوں سےبیک وقت محاذکھول دیاگیا.یہ کوئی معمولی بات نہیں کہ ایک نوزائدہ ریاست جس نےابھی بغاوتوں کوکچلاہووہ دوسپر پاورز سےٹاکراشروع کردے
