(1/7)I’ve been building my HH army for almost 1 year. It sizes around 3.5k pt. I paint them after each game, while avoiding a lot of hobby burnout. I get so tips for players want to have army "fast" while not sacrificing quality paint job. #Warmongers #WarhammerCommunity 
(2/7)Build and play first before painting. HH was a new system for me. Before I am sure the loadout fits my play style, I assemble my units with blue tack… so I get a chance to switch them.
(3/7)Test the color scheme with bits! I tested about 3 color combination of green and brown base to find the best one. You may not find the box art most attractive to you, so test a variety of color is a good idea before you batch painting them.

Getting a little bored of the arguments so here are my thoughts on diversity and representation in 40K. A short thread.

The arguments against diversity seem to boil down to “the lore doesn’t support it”. Unfortunately this fundamentally fails when you accept that lore is fluff to make toy soldiers more interesting to play with. It not set in stone, it’s regularly changed.

In fact just recently one of the guys involved in early GW dev openly stated that the lack of female marines was simply due to supply and demand at the time. That was the 80’s, times have changed.

Steps 2 - 5. Build up some land. I’ve used texture paint and bits of slate. I like my Deepkin to look like they are coming from the sea, not going towards it, so I tend to place the land towards the front of the base. Base it grey, nuln the hell out of it, then drybrush to taste.
