The reason why our country has remained poor and our economy has underperformed despite the fact that we have so many brilliant economist in this country is simple. Nigeria has no clearly defined economic philosophy. Image
Without an economic philosophy you can not have a strong economic vision.

Onnoghen’s Suspension Must Not Stand

President Muhammadu Buhari set aside the constitution by “suspending” the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen. This action is a serious threat to Nigeria’s democracy and a gross violation of the rule of law, which must... Image
...not stand.

The purported suspension of the CJN is a dangerous culmination of President Buhari’s contempt for the rule of law, which includes disobeying court orders.

To preserve the country’s democracy, President Buhari needs to reinstate Justice Onnoghen back to office...
...without delay and allow the due process of the law in handling whatever legal infractions the CJN may have committed.

Signed

Professor Kingsley Moghalu
Presidential Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP)

Since last Saturday’s Presidential Debate held by the Nigerian Elections Debate Group (NEDG), Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON), Channels Television and numerous other partners, we have been overwhelmed by the reactions of many who viewed the debate. Image
We believe the debate was viewed and heard by an estimated 60million Nigerians in addition to many interested non-Nigerians around the world.
I am privileged to be part of this movement to liberate our country from the shackles of the old and recycled politicians who have nothing to offer our country but poverty and corruption.
