This is important, of course, in light of the fact that Blackburn's 10+ year campaign org chair Kline Preston kept ties to close Putin ally Alexander Torshin as late as 2018. Preston also had ties to Ukraine starting in the 1990s.

After the bombings, many of the officers of my church and other trusted friends urged me to hire a bodyguard and armed watchmen for my house. When my father came to town, he concurred with both of these suggestions.
I tried to tell them that I had no fears now and consequently needed no weapons for protection. This they would not hear. They insisted that I protect the house and family, even if I didn't want to protect myself.
Good morning. Here in Richmond for @townhallcom to cover the gun rights rally outside the statehouse. Lots of people are choosing to stay outside of the security zone.
In addition to quite a few people being armed with rifles in Richmond, there's also quite a few Gov. Northam yearbook pictures on signs.
