#DrNandiphaMagudumana has appointed Advocate Anton #Katz to deal with her Free State High Court urgent application to declare her arrest and deportation in Tanzania unlawful. Katz is considered a leading expert in the field of international law. 
#Katz is arguing that Magudumana's deportation was in fact a "disguised extradition" as there was "collusion between SA and the Tanzanian officials to hand the person over." He says it was clearly an extradition and not a deportation according to international law.

JUST IN| Both #ThaboBester and #DrNandipha Magudumana will appear virtually this morning while the 6 other accused in the matter of Besters escape will appear in person at the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court. Bester is being detained at Kgosi Mampuru Prison in Pretoria.
According to the NPA #DrNandipha Magudumana made an application last week to appear virtually from #Kroonstad Correctional Centre in the Free State where she is currently being detained.

The father of Teboho Lipholo told Newzroom Afrika that he accompanied his son to the taxis not knowing that he was going to meet with a police officer to talk about the #ThaboBester escape case. Lipholo was arrested in that same meeting. @LindA_MniSii
A state witness told the court yesterday that Lipholo called the police saying he wanted to arrange a meeting with an officer he could trust. He allegedly said he was "scared his colleagues and community would kill him"... @LindA_MniSii

The boy was dressed in The Hill school uniform, which was a school not too far from the school my sister & I went to. At the time I was 12 and the boy must could have been around 15/16. So I guess my dad just wanted to assist.
The boy gets in the car and introduces himself as Robert and is en route to an area near Orange Farm. From the go I could tell that he didn’t have much, he explained that he was living with his gran.
