We’re grateful for a card from the recipient of Molly’s lungs. Her own lungs were attacked by RA. She was home hooked to an oxygen tank for yr before the transplant. Now she can run after her 2 yr old grandson, and be his guardian when his parents are deployed in the Air Force. 
The woman who received Molly’s lungs worked for the airlines for 26 years. She recently studied for and received her real estate license. Molly’s lungs were so strong; she has a new life and a future. She hopes to hear from us, and I hope we can meet her and have a relationship.
It’s hard for me to think of Molly’s organs being harvested. It nearly killed me to leave my baby at the hospital, on life support, and not be able to hold her every second she was on this planet. Hearing from the recipients affirms that we absolutely made the right decision.
This is a special post. I put together photos of Molly on all her birthdays here on Earth. Thank you all for seeing Molly, for loving her, although most of you never met her. Molly and I are just getting started changing the world together🙏. #TEAMMOLLY #HBDMolly
These are from Molly’s first and second birthdays. Our cat, Ellie, always slept in Jon’s dresser drawer. Molly delighted in finding her there. You’ll notice a theme in all these photos - Molly thoroughly enjoyed her birthday cakes 🎂. Please indulge in something sweet today 😋.
This is three and four. I vividly remember Molly getting up and singing Twinkle Twinkle ⭐️ into the mic at her fourth birthday party. She was so earnest and sincere. Pure love radiated from her in those moments.
Today was supposed to be Molly’s bat mitzvah. It’s been too difficult to mention. #TEAMMOLLY

Words are insufficient to describe our gratitude that this flag was flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of Molly. @DrewNirenberg, the Nirenberg family and @SpeakerPelosi, we are humbled. As Justice Sotomayor said, Molly had the heart of a public servant. Thank you. #TEAMMOLLY
It’s been an emotional day. When this flag arrived, I broke down sobbing. @DrewNirenberg is the nephew of my friend who is actually family, @LeslieHelmer. @DrewNirenberg was invested in Molly’s story before he realized that his aunt is like a sister to me.
When Drew and his family learned of our connection, they wanted to do something special to honor Molly. Drew works on Capitol Hill. He contacted Speaker Pelosi’s office and explained what happened to Molly, arranging for this flag to be flown in her honor.
Eli’s birthday party was wonderful. He enjoyed every minute! It was a nice day for all. It wouldn’t have been possible without family and friends, including #TEAMMOLLY. My sister and sister-in-law did many things they knew I could not.
Since we built our house over a ago, it was the first time we’ve had a gathering, besides Molly’s shiva. I invited Eli’s small preschool class as the kids are together anyway. The adults have all been vaccinated. A glimpse of post-Covid normalcy!
Molly was with us. I’m learning that our loved ones on the other side use people on Earth, sometimes unknowingly, to deliver messages of their love. Through @MindsEye55 and @yenyen419, Molly sent a garbage truck for a surprise visit, balloons and sweets for the birthday boy.
Molly innately respected all forms of life. We didn’t teach this to her; she taught us.

From the youngest age, Molly would gaze out to the ocean, sitting still for a long time.

Fifth graders at our school, @MarquezCharter, are fortunate to learn history by performing in a series of plays written by the incomparable @jefftoes. Molly was THRILLED to star in the lead roll of narrator, Katie, in “Miracle at Philadelphia.” TEAMMOLLY 🌟

Molly was a connector (I am, too). When Jon was growing up, he didn’t know his four sisters from his dad’s first marriage well. Molly came along and wanted to know her entire family. She spent time with her aunts and their families and they quickly fell in love with her.
The adults followed suit and developed their own close bonds. Jon’s sisters have been such a comfort, and he has them in his life because of Molly. She truly was a miracle.
I can’t put into words how much the #TEAMMOLLY movement means. @MillerJpm9690 , THANK YOU for your letter (I could read your handwriting easily) and your fabulous idea. Nate was sitting next to me when I opened your package.
He had just run downstairs crying, saying that a huge wave of grief had crashed over him. We read your letter and looked at the rocks together. He LOVES your #MOLLYROCKS idea and is already busy painting his first rock. He said Molly would love it too, because she painted rocks.
Molly and Nate talked about hiding them for people to find but never did it. I think Molly wanted to add more details to hers. She was like that - a perfectionist who took her time!

Part 3 of 4. #TEAMMOLLY, can you believe this?! My friend, Jill, remarked yesterday that Molly is showing me all the beauty that’s still in the world. Indeed, she’s showing the world 🙏.
#TEAMMOLLY, I’ve been transparent with you from the beginning. I’m the only child of parents who divorced when I was 6. My father abandoned me and never had a relationship with Molly or her brothers. Yet, he and his wife are attempting to center themselves in this tragedy.
My mom loved Molly when she was younger, but became lost to mental illness/addiction 5 years ago. She was homeless for years. My mom reached out to Jon today - days after we lost our precious girl - and asked him to send her money. She tried to manipulate him during his grief.
My younger half-sister, who was abused from an early age, is addicted to meth, and has resorted to prostitution. She is facing prison time. This is my truth. In addition to losing my precious Molly, I lost most of my family a long time ago.
I converted to Judaism when I was pregnant with Molly. This is my first time experiencing shiva, the Jewish mourning tradition. Since #TEAMMOLLY involves learning about our diverse rituals, customs and beliefs, I wanted to share this article about shiva. reformjudaism.org/everything-you…
We would love to learn about the special ways you celebrate a life lost, grieve and comfort the loved ones who are left behind. Molly was a constant and persistent questioner. She would be proud to inspire people to learn about each other and celebrate their differences.
