Although the US is highly sought after, the average annual tuition is $28,000, and can easily exceed $50,000 depending on school and program. The average tuition in the UK is cheaper, at around $20,000.
The best value, however, may be found in Canada because its cost structure has a larger range and provides both lower and more expensive schools than those in the UK and the USA. Fees in Canada can range from $15,000 to $25,000, depending on the course and university.

1. You are bound to pull 1 or 2 all-nighters, but stay away from the energy drinks - instead, to keep yourself awake, drink cold water, eat fruit, and turn on a nice, bright light (preferably soft light, not fluorescent) 😊
2. Do not underestimate the importance of proper note-taking. It may not seem important one month into the semester but when it comes time for exams, and your notes are a mess, you’re going to wish you had shown a little more care in them 🤣

A really significant obstacle that self funded students face, is how to pay tuition fees and still have enough to cover living expenses.
There are no easy answers to this obstacle. And the student risks losing his/her studentship if he is unable to make his tuition payments.

Express Entry is unforgiving because it is done online and you no longer get letters from IRCC requesting that you correct any mistakes made in your application.
Under Express Entry, any errors or omissions made by you, the applicant, will result in your application not qualifying out of the pool of candidates.
