#BalajiHuddar was born on 17 June 1902 at Mandla (Madhya Pradesh). The family's original surname was Rauldev. They were known as 'Huddar' as they were Huddedars or noblemen of the Gond kings in Vidarbha.
Since the age of 4, he was brought up by Umabai, a rich widow from the Udhoji family, who had saved him while he was drowning. Though this was done with the consent of his birth parents, his formal adoption had not been done. This took place when he was 40! #BalajiHuddar

Tens of thousands of victims of the Spanish civil war and the Franco dictatorship are to be exhumed from mass graves and given a dignified remembrance.
Tens of thousands of victims of the Spanish civil war and the Franco dictatorship are to be exhumed from mass graves and given a dignified remembrance.
The socialist government passed a bill providing state funding for the exhumations. According to estimates by historians and victims' associations, there are still more than 100,000 missing persons in collective graves.
A map with all mass graves is to be created and a DNA database of the victims is to be created to enable their identification. "Remembrance, justice and reparation must be the responsibility of the state," said Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
