By now we are all aware of the killings taking place in #SouthernKaduna. However beyond this is a real humanitarian crisis that’s brewing. Many families have lost their bread winners
Women and children are the most vulnerable groups in such situations and need a lot of support. This goes beyond just food and clothing- we must think of the post traumatic experience - people seeing their loved ones hacked to death- kids seeing corpses of their parents etc
Children both Muslims and Christians losing their homes (which are burnt down in many cases), dropping out of school or simply malnourished! This is the other side of the #SouthernKaduna crises.
If these ethnic jingoists, the @ChidiOdinkalu's of perdition, the @segalink of sorrow, the @JohnDanfulani & @ShehuSani of calamity are being taken serious by the international community they run to tag with regards to the #SouthernKaduna crisis, they might have acted on the lies.
But the manner in which every reasonable voice out there treats their lies is an indication that the product they are marketing is not selling. The bitter truth they hate to hear is, ALL LIVES MATTER. The crisis is as a result of attacks by Kataf militia & Fulani militia.
Every life in #SouthernKaduna matters. We are again calling the authorities to do more, bring the perpetrators to book & punish them.
