The Economist Intelligence Unit, released its ranking on Monday covering 60 major urban areas around the world, with focus on COVID-19 pandemic that has shown the “need for a more holistic approach to health and security and its closer integration into urban resilience planning.”
According to the index, Karachi has scored 39.7 points.
The division of points is as follows:
38.5 on digital Security, 48.4 on health security, 43.0 on infrastructure security, 33.3 on personnel security, and 35.4 on environmental security.

The entire #SafeCity concept is a joke because the cameras aren’t operational, the license plates aren’t #RFID & the police are untrained beyond chai pani.
