Der Begriff „Russophobie" oder „Antirussisch“ wird in stalinistischer Zeit gerne verwendet, um den Widerstand kleiner Völker und anderer Nationen zu brechen. Nobelpreisträger Czesław Miłosz' lässt hier 1953 eine solche stalinistische Stimme zu Wort kommen, um sie vorzuführen:
Der bekannteste Machwerk, das „Russophobie“ sogar im Titel hat, stammt von Igor Schafarewitsch (1989). Hier die erste Seite der dt. Übersetzung, in dem dieser wichtige Mathematiker dem Begriff eine russ.-nationalistische und antisemitische Grundlage gab. Man beachte *Antivolk:
