This afternoon, a MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot-down by #Libyan National Army near #Benghazi. It was armed & approached #Benina air base from southwest. It is still not known whooperated this drone. First footage shows it falling to the ground while second shows its wreckage👇
Here are images of its wreckage. According to the spokesman of #Libyan National Army, the drone was armed which makes it highly possible to be operated by #USAF however #Italian Air Force & #RoyalAirForce also had their MQ-9 Reaper drones flown over #Libya within past few months. 
#BREAKING: #USArmy 82nd Airborne Division is still sending troops to #Afghanistan. Not only, the number of #US troops there is reduced rather it is increased 3 times. These two #USAF's C-17As (06-6166 & 08-8190) supported by three KC-135R/T tankers are sending 300 more troops.
Two #USAF KC-135R tankers (61-0298 and 63-8045) and an RC-135W Rivet Joint (62-4138) have headed to #Afghanistan to support the evacuation of Afghan & #US citizens from #Kabul airport. It is first time that a Rivet Joint is getting involved in this operation.
Tanker activity in the Al-Dhafra-#Kabul airbridge. Two Al-Udeid based #USAF KC-135Rs are going #Afghanistan while a KC-10A tanker returns to Al-Dhafra.
#BREAKING: Since morning, 7 C-17As of #USAF have been involved in evacuation of #US citizens & troops as well as #Afghan civilians from #Kabul, #Afghanistan. They are 00-0176, 02-1108, 02-1109, 04-4132, 04-4133, 08-8190, 10-0215. Each airplane is now evacuating 500 to 800 people!
#BREAKING:The busy airbridge between #UAE & #Afghanistan now.02-1109, a C-17A of #USAF's 62nd Airlift Wing with 500 to 800 Afghans on-board is about to land in Al-Dhafra. Next to that a #US State Department Dash-8 is coming from #Kabul while a #USAF's B-52H bomber is going there.
A C-17A heavy transport aircraft of #RoyalAirForce with ZZ171 serial number is now headed toward #Kabul, #Afghanistan to evacuate #British citizens. If I don't mistake, that's fifth or sixth of such a flight. That means, #RAF C-17s are also evacuating Afghan nationals.
#BREAKING: As the final hours of the fall of #Kabul to #Taliban is coming up, the evacuation of #US Citizens & troops from #Afghanistan has now speeded-up. 14-5797 which is one of the four AC-130J Gunships of #USAF's 73rd SOS on deployment at Al-Dhafra, #UAE is among the convoy!
#BREAKING: A #USAF's C-17A heavy airlifter accompanied by an AC-130W Stinger II gunship left Al-Dhafra & are headed toward #Kabul to pick-up last American citizens & troops still in #Afghanistan. The AC-130W will protect the C-17A during its landing at the airport.
57-1438 and 62-3554, two KC-135R tankers of #USAF left Al-Dhafra and are headed toward #Afghanistan to refuel the AC-130Ws, AC-130Js and B-52Hs already airborne over #Kabul.
#BREAKING: This footage released by #Russia MOD shows Tu-22M3 heavy bombers, MiG-31K missile carriers, Su-34 striker bombers and Su-35S fighters as well as an A-50U participating in an exercise for simulation of airstrike at #RoyalNavy's HMS Queen Elizabeth in #MediterraneanSea!
The #Russia Air Force's MiG-31K missile carriers are 90 (RF-95215) & 96 RED from 929th V.P. Chkalova State Flight Test Centre (929 GLITs). Each one had a single Kh-47M2 Kinzhal anti-ship air-launched ballistic missile. Both were flown from #Hmeimim Air Base, #Latakia in #Syria.
An A-50U AEW&C aircraft of #Russia Air Force flew from #Hmeimim over #MediterraneanSea & provided situational awareness for the Tu-22M3, MiG-31K, Su-34 and Su-35S pilots against F-35Bs of Fleet Air Arms/ #RoyalAirForce flown from HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier of #RoyalNavy

Based on the pictures taken by #RAF Typhoon pilots, the Tu-142s involved in this mission are RF-34057 (Left) & RF-34073 (Right). First is a 1982 built Tu-142MK anti-submarine aircraft & the second is a 1989 built Tu-142MR submarine communications relay aircraft which is upgraded.
