Steeds meer elementen wijzen erop dat naar schatting 500 mensen omkwamen als gevolg van een Griekse pushbackoperatie. Een 🧵⬇️. 
Eerst en vooral de getuigenissen (ondertussen al een 10tal) van overlevenden dat de boot kapseisde tijdens een manoeuvre van de Griekse kustwacht die de boot met een touw aan het voortslepen was, weg uit Griekse wateren.

We know the truth. We know that we are being lied to for years. They know we know. They also know victims and journalists will reveal their lies at some point. They know they can't detain the survivors forever.
But they don't care. They know it will take few days to get the facts straight. In the meantime some other news will be produced, perhaps another shipwreck, and we will move on and start over: the false press releases of Frontex et al., the concern of the Commission et al., ...

@SARwatchMED shows below that the photo was taken from inside a P355GR coastal patrol vessel. Which is exactly the type of @HCoastGuard vessel ΛΣ-920. That vessel left from Crete on Tuesday and approached the migrant boat.
According to the initial timeline of events (published by @HCoastGuard ) the LS-920 remained at a distance & discreetly observed the migrant boat. But this photo is yet another proof of the close encounter the HCG had with the migrants. At night, using headlights & later a rope.

Ja, es gibt Bilder von dem Schiff bei der Überfahrt. Die griechische Küstenwache und #Frontex wurden vom @alarm_phone schon viele Stunden vorher über das Schiff in Not informiert.

Ja, es gibt Bilder von dem Schiff bei der Überfahrt. Die griechische Küstenwache und #Frontex wurden vom @alarm_phone schon viele Stunden vorher über das Schiff in Not informiert.
@alarm_phone Frontex und die griechische Küstenwache waren nicht nur informiert. Sie waren vor Ort, machten Aufnahmen aus der Luft, waren auch auf See in der Nähe – sozusagen eine »orchestrierte Sterbebegleitung«.
