१३ वर्ष वयाचा माझा मावसभाऊ गेले तीन आठवडे हॅास्पिटलला आहे. मी दोन दिवस प्रवासात होते. जाण्यापूर्वी त्याला भेटून आले होते. आज संध्याकाळी परत त्याला भेटायला जायचं होतं. पाऊस, झाडं पडणं, पाणी साचणं, ट्रॅफिकच्या रांगा अशा परिस्थितीत जायला मिळेल का शंका होती.

पण पाऊस उघडला तसे बाहेर पडलो. वारजे ते कर्वे रोडवर गरवारे कॅालेजपर्यंत एक तासापेक्षा जास्त वेळ अडकलो. या गतीने लक्ष्मी रोडवर हॅास्पिटलला पोहोचायला आणखी किमान एक तास लागला असता. म्हणून कर्वे रोडवर जागा मिळाली तिथे कार पार्क केली आणि पुढे चालत जाऊन त्याला भेटून आलो.

नंतर कळलं मर्सिडिज बेंझचे सीईओ पण आज असेच अडकले आणि त्यांनाही चालत, रिक्षा करत प्रवास पूर्ण करावा लागला.
एवढ्या मोठ्या माणसात आणि आपल्यात काही साम्य असावं अशी अपेक्षा नाही पण असेल तर ते असं तरी असू नये असं वाटलं.
आमच्या पलिकडेच एका गाडीत अभिनेते प्रवीण तरडे होते.
