The latest Bollywood release #Pathan is the new trending topic probably in #India and #Pakistan. The movie might be some cliche, but somehow attracted the huge number of people, who appreciated the film, starring @ImsrkShah, a well known super star from Bollywood in India 1️⃣
The reason for being attracted & love towards the movie is the concept of the dignified character of Pathan. The Pathans are the nation, living in some part of Pakistan and Afghanistan, where the whole generation grown up in the violent shadow of the Afghan jihad & terrorism 2️⃣
This nation has always been a victim of stereotypes in the media of Pakistan. Pashtuns have been depicted as janitors, cobblers, porters, terrorists & even homosexuals in Pakistani movies. Infact, the dramatizations of Pashtuns have been aesthetically hostile than socially 3️⃣

In the movie #Pathan, by naming the villain(terrorist) after 75-year-old Shabbir Ansari, the senior most activist of the Pasmanda movement (who has been fighting for the upliftment of indic Pasmanda for more than 43 years) a malicious attempt has been made to tarnish the 1/3

From whatever Ive seen & heard of #Pathan It seems a story about Teen-sex where @deepikapadukone plays a 14 year old girl & @iamsrk plays a 15 year old.. Its like a remake of "Friends".. both fall in love & start a family in Afghanistan & raise their child in a Taliban office..
And then.. in #Pathan.. SRK wants their son to join the Taliban.. but Deepika wants him to become a doctor for depression... It is this clash over what the two want for their son that tears them apart.. Finally the son joins @NDTV & becomes a journalist..
#Pathan story.. After their son joins NDTV.. @IamSRK joins Taliban full time as an office boy.. and @DeepikaPadukone returns to Bangalore to fight for Hijab rights for Muslim girls.. There she meets @BeingSalmanKhan whos actually a Tiger parading as human.. she marries him..
