The petition is not a plea for an additional category of 'victimhood', nor an argument that class identity trumps other identities; it's a response to the growing gaps in income & wealth inequalities, in which intersectional class has either been invisible, ignored, or forgotten.
Banning class discrimination eg closure of a hospital indirectly negatively impacting poorer communities would be prohibited; interviewers wouldn't be able to discriminate on basis of accents; & data on homelessness, schooling & on the class pay gap could be gathered nationally.

Every day #disinformation permeates into our lives, from Covid-19 conspiracies to false claims about the war in Ukraine. But what impact does this online disinformation have in the real world and on real people?

To uncover the human and political costs of the disinformation campaign around #Syria @ISDglobal and The Syria Campaign did the most comprehensive deep dive into Syrian disinformation to date. We found that:
1. Lies Cost Lives: Disinformation has attempted to discredit war crimes evidence from frontline responders like @SyriaCivilDef & medics, & to justify their deliberate targeting & murder by Russian & Syrian forces. 296 volunteers have been killed in the line of duty since 2012.

There is no difference in the capability of women, underrepresented individuals & men to design & perform outstanding STEMM research & innovation, yet the current ecosystem has deeply entrenched biases in systemic structure, culture & metrics that afford men an unfair advantage.
With funding, this is largely due to the restrictive, limited metrics by which we measure a researcher’s track record & research ‘success’ in Australia.
It is also due to a lack of funding streams that could create more opportunities for women to succeed & accelerate their career trajectory.
