#OperationPeaceSpring has effectively prevented the emergence of a subversive statelet at #Turkey’s doorstep, and put an end to the YPG/PKK terrorist network’s territorial plot in #Syria. This geopolitical achievement is above everything for #Ankara.
At this point, one can't help but ask the million dollar question: Does the failure of this fait accompli autonomy project remain the underlying reason of some reactions, mostly using the humanitarian guise, against Turkey’s military campaign? If so, let us give a sobering call

So far, the PKK / YPG rocket and mortar attacks have already claimed the lives of 18 civilians in Turkey, including children.
The PKK / YPG militants use unguided weaponry, some relying on the WW2 technology like the Grad rockets, to indiscriminately hit populated areas, marking a textbook example of terrorism through hybrid concepts
From a military standpoint, there is no silver bullet C-RAM (counter - rocket, artillery, and mortar) solution to this kind of projectiles. Thus, the Turkish ground offensive must swiftly secure some 20km tactical depth to protect the civilians.
I strongly condemn the Arab League for mischaracterizing Turkey’s counter-terrorism operation in northeastern Syria as an “invasion” in a statement issued earlier today.

1) the equation of YPG to the entire Kurdish community and overcasting YPG-PKK ties: YPG is an overwhelmingly controversial group and has a bad recent past in it treatment to the peoples living in the region. So the population is suspected to come to their help
2) claiming the massacre of Kurds is underway: this was the same rhetoric employed during #OperationOliveBranch but check this:
