1. A #Sikh friend from #Norwich #Connecticut sent me these photos. Apparently, an Indian American Sikh group made a digital presentation in front of the Norwich City Hall against Mayor Peter A Nystrom, accusing him of supporting and promoting supporters of #Khalistan terror group 
2. Messages called on Mayor Nystrom to focus on the issues of #Norwich, including lack of development and an alarming opioid crisis, instead of supporting agendas of extremist groups that were responsible for one of the worst airline bombings in the world. (Kanishka bombing)
3. Friend told me that despite being a small town, Norwich has been facing infrastructure issues with power outages in the past month. Most people in the town he spoke to told him that were completely unaware of who #Khalistanis were and why the Mayor would be promoting them.

The committee is made up of 4 Norwich based cllrs (2 x city, 2 x county 3 Lab, 1 LD) and 4 Norfolk Tories. The Chair is County Cabinet Member Martin Wilby (Tory).
When the committee was formed we were invited to join a decision making committee 2/2

Meetings took place remotely as covid legislation allowed. When the govt refused to extend that legislation and insisted that decision making meetings took place in person, Transport for Norwich cttee (previously called transforming cities cttee) continued to meet online 3/

“Dorothy Jewson was a fearless, trailblazing feminist, born in 1884 of an alderman in the coal and timber business and a mother from Norwich’s famous Jarrold family. She came from Thorpe Hamlet and was educated at Norwich Girls’ School when it was situated in the Assembly House.”
“Initially a teacher, she became active in politics. She joined the suffrage movement, pressed for alleviation of poverty, supported female workers’ rights and took an anti-war stance. In 1924 she was one of the first women elected to Parliament and gave a rousing maiden speech.”
1/ Not saying anything revolutionary here but thought I'd gather my thoughts in a big ol' #thread on #smoking, esp why I think pubs/bars/restaurants should voluntarily create generously-sized outdoor #nonsmoking areas ASAP (esp aimed at #Norwich venues bc of self-interest!)
2/ New gov guidance suggests venues will have to provide outdoor non-smoking areas soon anyway, though it's not clear from exactly when (anyone know?). gov.uk/government/new…
3/ But pubs should do it soon, before they are forced to, from a sense of moral duty & to protect punters from 2nd hand smoke (SHS).

Every action a GK performs can be separated into 3 categories:
Save-> here the GK attempts to block the ball going into the goal
Distribution-> here the GK attempts to play the ball to a teammate
Interception-> here the GK attempts to stop the ball from reaching an opponent

Evaluating GK intercepting from public data is difficult as most stats providers split intercepting actions between recoveries, tackles, interceptions, punches, & claims, & the differences between the categories are unclear & not relevant to interception difficulty/importance.

In 2005, I set up a business selling CDs, namely mixtape CDs after graduating from Uni.
In 2006, my home was raided & my business was stopped. They said the CDs I was selling were in breach of copyright.

It was a complete shock as the exact same CDs I was selling were prevalent on most high streets and supermarkets. They were selling in their thousands in places such as #Tesco & #HMV. And #Woolworths were the actual UK Distributor of these CDs.
