It's probably futile, but I'll try this once again. Entanglement is a type of correlation: it links particles together. It's locally created, it's just that you can move entangled particles apart from each other once it's been created. 2/

This year’s #NobelPrize laureate John Clauser built an apparatus that emitted two entangled photons at a time, each towards a filter that tested their polarisation. The result was a clear violation of a Bell inequality and agreed with the predictions of quantum mechanics.
