👩🏼⚕️have been studying “IBS-type symptoms” in #IBD for 30 yrs. But there is more work to be done to help characterize cohort & dz mechanism!
It’s important bc:
👨👩👧👦Affects pts QoL, mental health, sleep
🥼Causes ⬆️HC utilization, ⬆️MD visits & 💊narcotics
