My daughter named her new pet, Sir David Stickenborough, after her hero. She wrote to tell him this. Obviously he responded. Sir David is getting renamed, apparently, but my daughter’s fascination with nature has been reinforced. #NationalTreasure

Thanks for all your comments. My daughters are very excited and thankful for everyone’s interest in their pets. I have nothing to promote, but the real Sir David’s new documentary, Frozen Planet II, premieres in the UK tonight. Watch that.

First, he represents DC & we know he is #DCforlife like me. Can we discuss his history of being a true activist who walks the talk he talks (e.g. Morehouse and the Black Panthers).
2nd Let's talk about him as *the* example of transforming yourself. He used his experience as a former drug addict, then played one in #JungleFever & was so damn good that he made the Cannes Film Festival create an ENTIRELY NEW AWARD just to be able to honor him
