It stands for “dual hypothermic oxygenated machine perfusion”, the “dual” refers to perfusion of both the hepatic artery and portal vein. This is normally performed for 2 hours at the transplanting centre before implantation after a period of cold storage.

1.) Not a single patient in the study was without SERIOUS co-morbidities. Simply read the chart that explains this. The most common was hypertentison, but also included diabetes, COPD, AIDS, and many others.

Every patient had MULTIPLE meds onboard. The authors point out the increased incidence of QT prolongation as this has become one of the common, yet incorrect fear-triggers associated with HCQ.

Ces deux revues de la littérature pourraient servir d'arguments à promouvoir le jeûne de façon trop précoce alors que quand on lit ces reviews, on voit qu'il manque des études sur le long terme, sur divers paramètres de santé et des résultats concordants (+ hétérogénéité des pop)
