Após o acontecido no acidente de Romain Grosjean no Bahrein em 2020, quando o chassi e trem traseiro se separaram (embora a Dallara tenha dito que era algo previsto), a FIA buscou formas de que o cambio se soltasse do motor, de modo a impedir que se repetisse (+).
Então, o regulamento técnico melhorou a definição das interações entre motor/cambio. O item 5.4.8 deixa claro que a unidade de potência deve ter 6 pontos de fixação no chassi e de 4 a 6 pontos de fixação com a transmissão. (+)

Continuo a pensare che questa cosa sia arbitraria e senza senso. Passi la differenza di “touch” vs “cross the line” ma una cosa è attraversata da una vettura quando una millimetrica porzione della parte di vettura che tocca terra (quindi la gomma) attraversa la cosa. #MonacoGP

...au 8e tour, tombe sur l'Arrows du modeste débutant brésilien Enrique Bernoldi, pas disposé à lui faire de cadeaux. Coulthard passera la moitié de la course derrière lui, sans jamais trouver l'ouverture.
Au micro de TF1, Pierre Van Vliet demande des sanctions contre Bernoldi, qui ne fait pourtant rien de répréhensible. Jacques Laffite en roue libre incite lui Coulthard à mettre Bernoldi dans le rail et se vante de l'avoir fait à Vittorio Brambilla qui le bouchonnait en 1977.

When Bottas pitted the wheel gun stripped the wheel nut, rounding it off, and leaving no faces for the tool to drive on. This was one of those moments where F1 TV's Pit Lane Channel came into its own. 2/8
I believe the key moment (caught on camera by @F1JMT) was only shown in detail on the PLC. You could see the swarf (metal) coming off the nut as the mechanic tried to remove it (can't really see it in these screen grabs!). Director Tom was quite excited by this. 3/8
Terrible. LeClerc and Scuds' paying the price for yesterday's crash in the worst possible way. He's out even before the race starts. Now we just have Sai in P3 whose Q3 was compromised by the crash. #MonacoGP #ForzaFerrari #F1
Scuds just can't catch a break. Every time they try to take risks, cut corners even, they get severely punished. But let's hope Sainz at P3 can save us blushes and get on the podium. #MonacoGP #ForzaFerrari #F1
