Após o acontecido no acidente de Romain Grosjean no Bahrein em 2020, quando o chassi e trem traseiro se separaram (embora a Dallara tenha dito que era algo previsto), a FIA buscou formas de que o cambio se soltasse do motor, de modo a impedir que se repetisse (+).
Então, o regulamento técnico melhorou a definição das interações entre motor/cambio. O item 5.4.8 deixa claro que a unidade de potência deve ter 6 pontos de fixação no chassi e de 4 a 6 pontos de fixação com a transmissão. (+)

-Ferrari and RB dominate the straights: Ferr is faster in the beginning (better traction and higher power/earlier power deployment), RB is faster in the end (lower drag)
-McL was close in laptime to RB, and the best car in the slow corners!

-LEC had the best acceleration out of corners, but the RB reached the highest top speed
-RB struggling in the slow corners➡️Lowest minimum speed
-RB was gaining a lot in the second part of the lap, but lost it all in the last corner

Mônaco é um dos mais tradicionais palcos do automobilismo e está presente na Fórmula 2 desde a estreia, em 2017. A F2 é a única categoria a acompanhar a F1 em Monte Carlo.
Esse é o menor circuito da temporada, tendo 3.337 km de extensão. Por ser um traçado pequeno, o tráfego costuma ser maior, por isso o fim de semana da F2 sofreu algumas alterações para essa corrida.

When Bottas pitted the wheel gun stripped the wheel nut, rounding it off, and leaving no faces for the tool to drive on. This was one of those moments where F1 TV's Pit Lane Channel came into its own. 2/8
I believe the key moment (caught on camera by @F1JMT) was only shown in detail on the PLC. You could see the swarf (metal) coming off the nut as the mechanic tried to remove it (can't really see it in these screen grabs!). Director Tom was quite excited by this. 3/8

Terrible. LeClerc and Scuds' paying the price for yesterday's crash in the worst possible way. He's out even before the race starts. Now we just have Sai in P3 whose Q3 was compromised by the crash. #MonacoGP #ForzaFerrari #F1
