The US is facing another Covid-19 data challenge. With @cdcgov scaling back on reporting breakthrough cases, we risk missing critical details on the true public health impact of SARS-CoV-2, the related variants, and vaccine effectiveness. [2/8] 
To date, 13 states are reporting vaccine breakthroughs publicly on a regular basis, with varying levels of detail. 8 states report only total numbers and/or the number of vaccine breakthroughs that resulted in hospitalization or death. [3/8]
