No one seems to notice — or care — that the #MaricopaCounty recount is at least partially funded by Vladimir Putin’s personal U.S. disinformation outlet, One America News Network, or that OANN is classified as a nonpartisan observer.
As recently as last month, the U.S. intelligence community recognized that One America News was a tool in Russia’s arsenal for disinformation and election interference leading up to the 2020 election. The intelligence report didn’t name the network, but it didn’t have to.
As of Nov. 8, no #ElectionResults have been certified and legal challenges and #Recounts are pending in key swing states.
