The Amhara Forces were targeting every ethnic #Tigrayan and hence they abducted her dad. Life got tough for Christine, her mom, and her siblings in Humera town. But, she decided to take care of her family by selling coffee & tea across the main streets in Humera.

While the executive side (Department of State) partially passed judgement regarding the situation in Ethiopia. The legislative wing has looked into the situation even more. So they pressed for cessation of hostilities as expected of any friendly country who doesn't want war 2/ 
When asking 4 cessation they asked for Eth Gov. +TPLF + other forces to all stop.They didn't just make it on one side, because in reality war happens between 2 or more groups. You can't ask just one side to stop. They mentioned all the back and forth for the 2 years b4 the war 3/

1.Thread: Summary of Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed’s Response to the ETH. Parliament on 30 Nov 2020 on what has transpired from the day he assumed office leading up to the attack on the Ethiopian National Defense Forces #ENDF by the now defunct Tigray People’s Liberation Front #TPLF.
2. How did he come to office? The #EPRDF elected Abiy Ahmed as PM of Ethiopia in April 2018 upon the heels of massive internal resistance and unrest in the country. The #TPLF did its very best to elect its own figurehead but failed.
3.The first few months: The PM was a virtual prisoner at the palace and his every move was monitored. His and his own family safety was at stake, and in his own words, “I was not in a position to protect my family, let alone protect the country and discharge my official duties."
I managed to talk to Abrha Kinfe - a father who lost his wife during a delivery to twins in #Maikadra. He told me they used to live in #Metema[Amhara] before they got persecuted & displaced because of their ethnicity in 2016. They resettled in #Maikadra till the war begun. [1/5]
He said that this delivery was the third one for his wife. They got two children from the previous two[15 & 4 yrs old] & twins from the recent one [the third delivery]. However, his wife lost too much blood during the delivery. There was no chance for them to visit ... [2/5]

There is no war in Tigray. The law enforcement operation has been concluded and the new administration has begun its work in Tigray. @AbiyAhmedAli reported this to the Ethiopian parliament. A war that does not exist cannot go unfettered as you seem to claim.
The is no active engagement in Tigray now. The Mekelle-Adigrat-Wukro road is open as we speak as is the Alamata-Mekelle road. You seem to be running an alternative reality here as are you claim of an election, which, apparently you were the 'sole international observer.'
