The International Airport and land borders will now be opened for tourists, coming in and going out, provided they tested negative 72 hours before arrival in Uganda and provided the tour operators ensure that the tourists do not mix with the Ugandans. #M7Address

1st of all, we used a mixed methodology to collect 1,353 responses, then narrowed it down to 1,182 by removing incomplete surveys & those from outside Uganda.

We asked people about their media consumption.
72% of respondents were hearing about Covid-19 at least once every day.
The most common type of media our respondents were exposed to was TV, which corresponds to other studies (see footnotes). Keep in mind Twitter is over-sampled.

I will address the nation shortly to clarify some of the guidelines that I issued yesterday on #Covid-19.
Last night after the address, my social media team informed me that there are a number of areas the public wanted to be clarified. I have captured some and will be elaborating on them. #M7Address.
On the issue of curfew, it started today not yesterday. It will be from 7:00pm to 6:30am. Anyone that will move during that time will be doing so at their own risk, I advise you against it because we do not want incidents. #M7Address.
