2/ A large share of Japan's phone market is still flip phones. There are flip phones that have 4G and quad core processors and yet support only preloaded apps. Some reasons suggested for this behavior are:
1. Ease of Use & Familiarity with minimal features of calling & texting

2. Needless distractions for work devoted citizns
3. Ageing Population's resistance to change
Some other similar readings that amazed me:
1. Japan has had mobile contactless payments(Felica Cards) ten years prior to Apple introducing it in 2014

Does anyone possibly have a newer iPad available that they could donate to a family that has autistic child?
We have checked several places and have been unable to find one suitable for his needs.

This family simply cannot afford a new iPad and every since the stay at home was asked of us and no school anymore the iPad they did have was a lifesaver however it was a first gen and it was not updating anymore and was on its last legs. It finally conked out.
If anyone has one they could donate or for a reasonable price, please DM for more info. We are looking for a newish iPad thats a newer version so it would be compatible to all the necessary apps this young man would need for his special needs. We are looking for a 64G or higher.
