UPDATE: President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari today commissioned the iconic Lagos Blue Line Rail, Phase 1, which starts from Marina to Mile 2.

The route which is a total of 13 kilometres in the first phase, extend from Mile 2 to Marina, covering five stations. The rail infrastructure, which will transport 250,000 passengers daily, was constructed by Lagos Metropolitan Transport Authority (LAMATA).
Mr President, President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari also supervised the signing of contract by Governor @jidesanwoolu for the commencement of the project’s second phase, which will cover 14-kilometre stretch from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko.
