Sideways, in #Brisbane, the 2nd phase of #KhalistanReferendum came under alleged India-backed #cyberttack on electronic voting machines.
The 1st attack took 30 minutes to be fixed & the other 2 took 20 mints each.
The turn out of the voting was 11,000.

This past weekend the inaugural voting event for the Sikhs For Justice #KhalistanReferendum took place in London (UK). SFJ estimate over 10,000 voters took part.
Further voting events are planned across the UK and other Sikh diaspora areas in Canada, USA and Australia shortly.

The democratic referendum is non-binding and considered illegal in India, but will be used as a gauge of support for Khalistan (a free Sikh homeland made up of Punjab and local regions) among Punjabi-Sikhs.
India have designated SFJ a "terror" org for their referendum campaign.

Based on the results, SFJ may present the findings to the @UN to request support for a legally binding referendum to take place in India for Khalistan, with SFJ using the @theSNP led #ScottishIndependence referendum as a template for their demands.
