The 2019 Conservative Party leadership contest saw Boris Johnson emerge as the winner, a year after he resigned as Foreign Secretary – in a disagreement with Cabinet colleagues over Brexit strategy.

He still wouldn’t resign. I wish I was wrong but I wasn’t.
The other thing I said was he would change the laws that would mean he didn’t have to go. Again I was right.

It smacks of arrogance and jealousy we should all be working together for the cause our objective is for Johnson to go and the #SueGrayReport to be published in full ,fully unredacted I've seen so many people considering leaving twitter not for just this situation but bullying

During a visit to India earlier this week, Johnson told journalists that “we are currently training Ukrainians in Poland in the use of anti-aircraft defense, and actually in the UK in the use of armored vehicles.”
Skrzypczak, who headed one of the multinational divisions in Iraq in the mid-2000s, told Polish newspaper Fakt that “when we were on missions abroad it was hard to imagine that one of the politicians would talk about our plans or training on television.”
Last week, the UK announced that it was eliminating all remaining tariffs and quotas on Ukrainian imports - something it was able to do because of Brexit. The reaction from Europhiles, and even some EU officials, has been telling - and not in a good way. A thread. 🧵 (1/9)

Since the Russian invasion, Kiev has been lobbying London and Brussels for the removal of the last tariffs and an easing of the more stringent border checks. This matters a lot, because Ukraine has lost its coastline. All its exports must now pass through EU territory. (3/9)
