When I was preparing to get married, bills to be paid were soaring through my roof.
My big bro promised me N1million in support and boy oh boy my anxiety gave way instantly: I had peace for like 2 weeks. Why? Because I knew him enough to believe that if he had a way to spare 1 milli, he would give it to me. I mean it’s my wedding.

I don’t make this tweet because I am totally rid of carnal pleasures. And by Carnal pleasures I mean stuff that potentially numb your spirituality sensitivity gradually because they aren’t in-your-face evil (even though most of them actually are...)

Replace “porn” with many of our creative and promotional decisions and think on it for a minute.
Excellence and appeal are key. But a heart that craves bad things needs something stronger than creativity to turn their heart around.

It’s easy to say “your sins are forgiven, you are now born again.”
This is because people can see the works of sin, but no one can see sin itself. We can see the fruits of righteousness— but cannot see righteousness itself.
But to say “rise up and walk” is more difficult. Because for everyone in that vicinity, the only actual proof that God’s ability thrives within you is for that lame person’s body to respond to your very words and rise up on their feet.

David was a teenager when he killed Goliath. Daniel was a teenager when Babylon raises Israel, he became skilled and wise from a young age. Even Shedrach, Meshach, and Abednego were teenagers when they defied Nebuchadnezzar.

Jesus didn’t influence Culture by being like the culture. Yes He sat with thieves drunkards and whoremongers; but He did not move, talk or think like them.
Instead, [with great love, power and soundness of Kingdom perspective] He was the Alpha person in every setting — helping all who were in need.
Righteousness in Christ makes us strong — Not in ourselves, but in the covering of God. So, in the face of trouble, or in need of rest after a long “day”, never become too self-focused that you’d rather stand in open field than to run into your strong tower.

HE did not heal you and your loved one of that illness just so they can be healthy enough to take on a new disease. HE did not deliver you from oppression just so you can be free and ripe enough for another round of oppression.
HE did not give you peace just as a momentary time out for fresh unrest. Neither did HE give you breakthrough just so you can experience new limitation.
Last night a friend from the office was “touched and robbed” off his money he just withdrew from the atm. He “woke up” and realised what happened only after reaching where he was to make a purchase with the money he withdrew.
@koch316 told me of a “man of God” who held a crusade in a small town some time ago, a “baba lawo” came up to the altar and slapped the preacher, and walked away like nothing happened. And nothing happened.
Politicians swear oaths of office by placing their hands on our most holy bible... then go on to lay waste to the office and it’s benefits. We wait and hope for their justice in hell😂😂😂 but mostly nothing happens here.
