Overall: I give this race a solid 7.5/10. The last 50 laps were easily a 9/10 (yes, even with all those red flags).
The first half of the race was a bit of a snoozer, but that's kinda what you get with the current speedway aero package in a 500 mile race. It was expected.

Je vous propose des cotes pour le podium avec Scott Dixon en vainqueur ! Le setuple champion d'IndyCar est en pole position et a affiché un très gros rythme tout au long de la quinzaine des essais et qualifs
Sur le podium derrière lui, je vois un de ses équipiers, Alex Palou, qui s'élance aussi en première ligne, et qui a toujours été très performant sur la course. L'Espagnol est le champion en titre, et il aura à cœur de signer un bon résultat sur cette course

First up is the reigning champion @JamieChadwick 👑
The British driver races in @ExtremeELive, is part of the @WilliamsRacing family and won two races in 2019. Chadwick was also the first female to win a @BritishGT Championship, so has shown a lot of talent!

Absolutely AWFUL decision by @IndyCar to end #Indy500 under caution. Anticlimactic, and deprived the fans of the shootout we deserved. Big 👎👎👎 to @IMS @PenskeMedia @jdouglas4 for a bad call!!!
This action is also totally inconsistent with 2014 #Indy500, where @IndyCar threw a red flag with nine laps to go to guarantee a green flag finish.

The cynic in me says @IndyCar might not have thrown the red flag late in #Indy500 because @NBCSports wanted to end the broadcast by 6:00 Eastern. If so, that would make a bad decision even worse...

.@GovHolcomb's weekly #coronavirus briefing about to begin. He's expected to announce whether the final lifting of #coronavirus restrictions, currently set for Saturday, will happen on schedule, be pushed back, or be moved earlier (the last two phases were moved up a day or two).
Holcomb: "Indiana is largely holding steady" on key #coronavirus metrics, "but we have seen somewhat of an uptick in our daily positivity rate." Today was first day over 6% in more than two weeks; state hit >500 cases on back to back days last week.
BREAKING: Holcomb delays Saturday's final lifting of restrictions until July 18. "It's just fact that other states, the majority of them, have seen an increase, and we pay attention to what happens around us."

.@GovHolcomb's #coronavirus briefing is about to begin. Judging from some brief and uneventful hot mic moments, at least one topic will be the recognition that this would ordinarily be #indy500 weekend.
And sure enough, Holcomb begins by noting today would have been #CarbDay, before urging people to remember that more important, it's #MemorialDayWeekend, and to honor men and women in uniform.
Holcomb: "While we won't have a race this weekend, we hopefully will have one in August, and maybe in July as well." (July is the #Brickyard400, in theory.)
