On or around July 24 2016, Johnny and Amber agreed to meet in person. Johnny was on tour with the Hollywood Vampires but had two final shows in CA. The first was in Saratoga, fifty miles south of San Francisco.
In a deposition, talent agent Christian Carino talked about flying to SF with Amber. He had arranged a meeting with JD at a friend's house. After a few hours there with Amber, JD showed up with security.

First up, Depp admits to headbutting Heard. Notably he doesn't call it a head bump nor an accident in this conversation between the two of them.
In fact he initially denied that he had ever headbutted her. Once he was confronted with the audio in the UK trial, he changed his story, saying that it happened but was an accident. By the US trial he said it wasn't even headbutt but rather a head "bump".

One of the big talking points is Heard was on James Corden's show the day after an incident & she looks fine, couldn't possibly be injured.
But if you compare the right side of her nose in that interview w/ other pictures, you can see it's swollen. Same w/ her bottom right lip.
