1. The fall was driven by Republicans, according to Gallup. While 56 percent of Americans identifying as Republicans found same-sex relationships morally acceptable in 2022, only 41 percent do so in the year 2023.

2. The groups most in favor of legal same-sex marriage are the same found in previous years - adults aged 18 to 29 (89%), Democrats (84%), and infrequent churchgoers (83%).

There's currently (at least) 1 teacher in the ICU & (at least) 3 who tested positive for COVID-19 over the last week or so. The superintendent of Gallup-McKinley County Schools, Mike Hyatt, placed a gag order on school principals/staff re. employees who have/had COVID-19. 2/9
This man is jeopardizing the citizens of McKinley County, which encompasses #Gallup, #ZuniPueblo & the #Navajo Nation. These are communities that many of you, & Mad Dog PAC, have worked hard to help. Our partners at the Emergency Operations Center in Gallup are wonderful. 3/9

Juste pour mémoire, et même si on se méfiera de la faiblesse du sous échantillon, chez les Blancs, #Trump est pour Gallup fin juillet 2020 à 53% d'approbation (et 91% chez les républicains...)

Selvitän seuraavassa, mistä tässä on mielestäni on kyse.

Vielä 80-luvulla oli helppoa olla hallituspuolue. Johannes Virolainen (kepu) ja Kalevi Sorsa (sd.) tulivat hyvin toimeen keskenään. Ja miksipä eivät olisi tulleet, kun harrastivat kovan talous- ja väestönkasvun aikoina sulle-mulle-politiikkaa.
Ennen oli oma valuutta, jonka turvin viennin ongelmat ratkaistiin devalvoimalla. Devalvaatio on sen verran abstrakti asia, ettei äänestäjä mieltänyt sitä tulonleikkaukseksi. Mitä se toki tosiasiallisesti oli.
