left a "worrying" letter, including threats against the state and public figures, said a spokesman for the Belgian public prosecutor. According to Belgian media reports, the 40-50-year-old soldier could have stolen a rocket launcher, machine gun, pistol and protective equipment.
The "most worrying weapons" were discovered in his car on Tuesday evening. "There is evidence that he is violent and the past 24 hours have shown that the man is an acute danger," said the minister.
