When major parts of the Arabic-language media focus on the world's most wanted female fugitive, Jordan's #AhlamTamimi, it's not to say "How deplorable that we've made her an icon". But, as below, to raise concerns whether Jordan will succeed in keeping US law enforcement at bay.
A reminder to please get behind our efforts to see justice (yes, justice) done. It isn't going to happen unless there's significant US pressure.

If you haven't noticed: Jordan's @KingAbdullahII is one of the world's most interviewed, most welcomed-in-Washington leaders. Yet no investigative reporter, no justice-minded editor, no Mid East analyst has asked a single question of him about his harboring the #Sbarro bomber.

Jordan is number 3 among all global recipients of US aid. The principle being defended in the Arabic op ed quoted in our post is the right of Jordan to be left alone when it harbors an @FBIMostWanted celebrity bomber whose victims include US nationals.

It's only certain Jordanian apologists who claim the US/Jordan Extradition Treaty, active since 1995, is invalid. No one serious, and certainly no one in the US government, takes the Jordanian claim seriously. The media, including the US media, steer clear of saying this. Why?
If our petition does its work, the Jordanian killer of our daughter will be brought in chains to a US Federal court in Washington DC to stand trial there. Can you imagine how much we're hoping you and your friends will sign it?
