I'm sorry @connorallen92 - there is not much I disagree with in your piece, but I first worked in the #Eurobubble in 2001 and most of this was true then. Ghosting applicants is not one I encountered then, but pretty much all the other points raised have been true for 2 decades.
And please note: it doesn't make these behaviours *right*. It's just that they are not *new*. If you have the right skill and knowledge you can find your way, but how it works is not to everyone's taste, and I understand that.
Take the topics that most EU Politics Masters students focus on - there are *so many* more who focus on foreign policy and diplomacy than there are jobs in that. And so few who focus on solid Single Market topics where the jobs are. Maybe students only realise that too late?
