These people also have all sorts of solutions on how to make the process quicker. They'll tell you the country is a mess and 'queues like this are unacceptable in this day and age'.
2. Those who wear the shirts of the party theyāre voting for. We don't care. Your vote is your secret. Iām not going to change my vote because I see you in your shirt. Some of them even have flags.

With 4 states and 1 UT due to get new govts next month, we looked at political representation of women in India. Of the 4,235 members of legislative assemblies (MLAs) in India, only 11% are #women. Follow the thread to know more:

Among states that had elections in March & April 2021, #WestBengal had the highest representation of #women, at 13% of all MLAs. 7% of MLAs in #TamilNadu are women, 6% in #Kerala & 6% in #Assam, data from @GoIStats recent collation of #gender data show:

BJP had contested 2016 Assam polls in alliance with the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) & Bodoland Peopleās Front (BPF). It won 60 of the 89 & AGP 14 of the 30 seats contested while the BPF had the best strike rate by winning 12 of the 13 seats contested.

Key pointers from the TN interim budget:
-TN govt has incurred a total expenditure of Rs13,352.85 crores for handling Covid19 pandemic.
-Out of the 413 recommendations given by economic expert committee, govt has implemented 273 of them.

- TN is expected to register a positive growth of 2.02% at 2011-12 constant prices in 2020-2021. This is against an all India negative growth of 7.7 percent.
In Punjab, the @INCIndia clean swept the civic body elections by winning six out of eight Municipal Corporations and emerging as the largest party in seventh. CM @capt_amarinder credited his govt's developmental policies for the victory ahead of state elections next year.
Overall, the Congress won 1,373 of the 2,218 seats that went to the polls, followed by the SAD (285), AAP (60), BJP (49), and BSP (5). This was also considered as the semi-final before the state goes in the election next year.
The BJP and SAD had to suffer the humiliating loss, due to the anti farm law sentiments and widespread protest. However, agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar attributed local politics to this while brushing off any causal link between election and farm laws protest.
