Earlier this week, both houses of the MA legislature passed a bill, which I cosponsored with @RepRuthBalser, that prohibits insurers from charging women more than men for the same #DisabilityInsurance policy.

@RepRuthBalser has spent so many years fighting to end gender discrimination in insurance, and this is an incredible accomplishment and milestone. Between 2012 & 2015, MA women paid on average 23.5 percent more than men for #DisabilityInsurance.
