A mastercraftsman, Goldie Anand at 19 wrote 'Taxi Driver' that became the first big hit of his elder brother Dev Anand's production house, Navketan, and also his eldest brother's, Chetan Anand, first commercial success.
A dew years later while driving to a location, Kalpana Kartik, who had married Dev Anand after 'Taxi Driver,' asked Goldie to entertain her. Goldie narrated what became 'Nau Do Gyarah.
Dev Anand was in the car too but Goldie narrated on the condition that he'd direct the film.
