1/I have been a one eyed Collingwood supporter since I was a little kid. I have barracked for the Pies since I met Peter Daicos in 1978 at a Preston fish and chips shop when I was 5. But I haven’t been so blind as to not notice racism & racist remarks that have permeated the club
2/My support for Collingwood has brought ecstatic joy (the 1990/2010 Premierships wins) lots of heartache (every other losing GF) But throughout those highs and lows my time as a supporter has also been tinged with deep discomfort at too many games when I witnessed racist abuse
3/abuse hurled by Collingwood supporters towards opposition players and the racism directed at and experienced by Collingwood players too like my hero Peter Daicos and more recently Heritier Lumumba.

1) I think this is #DictatorDan's actual testimony. Still weird as, but. He looks skinnier, paler, way younger. And his hands look large in comparison to his body. I suspect tech heads could explain weirdness as result of Skype or similar software with low resolution.

Yesterday I rolled over 1,000 km on our #CargoBike since installing the electric assist on it in April. This thread is an ode to my favourite vehicle with some lessons, experiences and insights. CC @bikeshopgirlcom @urkaiinc
We put the electric assist on this bike because we were talking about needing another vehicle. With 2 working parents and 2 young kids, there’s a lot of travel that happens in our house. The cargo bike has entirely eliminated that conversation.
When I tell people I’ve put a thousand km on, they’re stunned. But that’s almost all in-town travel. Short trips, 2-6 km. Nothing in #Collingwood is far away - we’re very privileged in that way. We also have great trails and calm residential streets to ride on. So it’s safe.
