Thanks to @JikkyKjj we also know that the furin cleavage site of SARS CoV-2 contains a sequence that Moderna has patented in 2017 for cancer therapy purposes.

That recent discovery of a moderna patent in SARS-CoV-2 comes simultaneously with a Drosten and Corman preprint in which they suggest a natural origin of this human-specific furin cleavage site. The 2 gentlemen are known for very fast responses.

the 1 in a billion claim can make sense if simplifying each 'slot' in a genome to something like the wheel of a fruit machine, pulling the lever, and checking the output for occurrences of the query string.
This is what you call it when the culprit left behind the weapon with finger prints on it, their drivers license, got seen by 10 eye witnesses committing the crime and got caught on security camera leaving the Laboratory.
