Just a quick personal message: I applied for the media team job at @Wrexham_AFC which was advertised in March, and discovered today that I didn’t get it. This is the second time I’ve applied in the last year, and finally I accept, reluctantly, that I’ll never achieve my dream 1/
of working for the club. Both processes were drawn out and exhausting, and I can’t put myself through that again.
I had ambitious ideas to expand on the voluntary work I already do for the club, especially with @WrexhamAFCWomen, but obviously they will not now be

I must emphasise that I know I have no God-given right to a job at the club, I’ve no issue whatsoever with the decision, and I completely accept that there are plenty of much better people than me out there. My acceptance of those facts doesn’t mean I can’t feel 3/
