I see no justification for a police response to looting and burglaries that don't threaten anyone's immediate safety.

This is really gross. People are taking basic necessities like toilet paper and water. In a neighborhood where most residents can't afford to stock up on those things.

Buffalo’s youth poverty rate of 47.2% is one highest in the country. Groups like Peace of the City help disadvantaged youth with tutoring and workforce training. peaceofthecity.org/donate/
It hurts deeply that the “City of Good Neighbors” is trending for this heinous act. It’s imperative that meaningful structural reform is implemented to prevent this type of brutality from ever happening again. If this can happen to a 75 year old white man-it can happen to anyone.
