Professor Jane Golley was to be my mentor/supervisor with my Chinese research but her academic freedom of speech was denied and she was politically bullied out of her Principal role at ANU- China in the World. She was sent on indefinite stress leave.
Jane Golley is the most knowledgeable professor on China and she is not allowed to be reinstated in her role at China on the World.I have waited for the new Labor Government to clean up Morrison's mess and have Jane reinstated as this move would have validated freedom of speech!
