A hashtag appeared on panel asking for public hangings of rapists. I did initial data comparison of people who participated in this hashtag and various other hashtags. I found that
1) 27% users who were propagating "a woman shouldn't travel without a Mehram escorting her"

2) 13% of "Travel with Mehram" advocates used abusive word "Randi" in their recent tweets while addressing some women on social media.

محترمہ ملیحہ ہاشمی صاحبہ نے اپنی تازہ ترین ویڈیو میں اغلام بازی (Gays) اور چپٹی بازی (Lesbians) پر درست اعتراض اٹھایا مگر انہوں نے اعتراض “Straights” (یعنی جو صرف جنس مخالف سے تعلقات پر یقین رکھتے ہیں) پر بھی اٹھایا جو سمجھ سے باہر ہے ۔ Straight اگر شادی کرلیں تو کیا خرابی ہے؟
محترمہ ملیحہ ہاشمی صاحبہ نے وہ حجاب نہیں کیا ہوا ہے جو بالکل شرعی ہو یعنی جیسا فرحت ہاشمی صاحبہ نے بتایا ہے مگر محترمہ کو اعتراض کو Pseudo Secular Liberal آنٹیوں پر ہے ؟ اب ملیحہ ہاشمی صاحبہ خود ہی بتادیں کہ اصلی تے وڈے لبرل سیکولر کون ہیں اور انکے نظریات کیا ہیں ؟
اکثر پاکستانی حضرات بالخصوص مذہبی سیاسی حضرات نوم چومسکی ، ارون دھتی راۓ و zmag کے حوالے استعمال کرتے ہیں کہ یہ تمام بائیں بازو کے genuine سیکولر و لبرل حضرات ہیں ، زرا غور سے جاکر انہی حضرات کے نظریات جنسیات وغیرہ کے بارے میں پڑھ لیں تو pseudo لبرل سے شکایت ختم ہوجائیگی

I've been hearing the debate on #MeraJismMeriMarzi and #AuratMarch2020 but while everyone has jumped on the bandwagon to criticize the march, let me remind you of some harsh facts that you forgot to lash out about.
I personally searched and read details of every case of violence against women and children reported since the start of this year.
After hours of going through the traumatic accounts, I compiled all the cases and their details and I decided to share them with everyone.

Enacted in 1979 under General Zia’s Islamisation process, the Hudood ordinances were a series of laws that replaced British-era laws in the Pakistan Penal Code. One of the ordinances was the ‘Offence of Zina’ which refers to fornication, adultery and rape.
Under the ordinance, several punishments were highlighted for the offenses, starting from the most severe or hadd such as public whipping of 100 lashes, and stoning to death of the adulterer, to lesser severe ones or tazir such as imprisonment up to ten years.

When it is the patriarchal, oppressive and inhumane jirga system that has forced hundreds of women to be stripped naked and paraded in the village under the alleged crime of adultery.
‘Mera jism meri marzi’ means that women want bodily autonomy and independence. To be able to have the right to choose in matters concerning their bodies. To choose what to wear without fear of rape. To choose who to marry.
