During the morning road opening drill the IED was discovered by the troops when then found suspicious wires running under a culvert.
It was removed with the help of Bomb Disposal Team of Army, Civil & CRPF.

When the IED was removed it was found to be made of :-
* 30/20 inch box
* Contained White powder most likely Urea & Sulpher
* nails for splinter effect
* Improvised detonator
* 100 m long wire for triggering from a distance.
